Around eighty Old Skinners enjoyed a first look at the magnificently renovated Skinners’ Hall when they gathered for the Old Skinners’ Society dinner at the Hall in November this year. It was a joy to hear old boys from every decade back to the 1950s rising to toast the health of the school and to blast out the Leopard Song.
Speeches were given by current Head Prefect, George Russell-Ross, and Headmaster, Edward Wesson. The occasion was also an opportunity to introduce the school’s new Development Director, Jules Sherwood, to the old boys as we look to gather the broad network of Old Skinners into the school’s family.
As the Leopard Spong goes: Floreat sodalitas, dalitas pardorum.
