International Women’s Day – seeking Speakers

Back
10/02/2026 News

As part of our celebrations for International Women’s Day, we are looking for parents or carers who would be willing to come into school to deliver a short, engaging presentation to our students.

We would love to hear from women in our school community who can share insights from their careers, life experiences, achievements, or areas of expertise. Whether you work in business, public service, science, technology, the arts, sport, or any other field, our students benefit enormously from hearing real stories from real people.

If you would be interested in taking part, or would simply like to know more, please contact our EDI Coordinator Lauren Smith on lauren.smith@skinners-school.org.uk.

Presentations will take place during House Assemblies on the 10th and 11th March (8:45am-9:10am). As there are five houses, there are five assembly slots to speak in. Three on 10th March and two on the 11th. If you could please clarify your preference when applying, that would be most useful.

Thank you for helping inspire our boys with positive role models and broadening their understanding of their community and by extension, society.
